Hello you lovely lot kloe here...
It’s that time again and I though I’d tell you about my slight obsession with face masks & in the duture id love to do a skin care series , so yes another beauty post but not just for us lady’s but also the men who care as much about their skin as I do .
I like nothing for than to sit down with a face mask and watch dirty dancing am I right lady's not only does your skin feel amazing but you get to swoon over Patrick swayze * wink wink * for a whole hour and fourty minutes (yes i just googled it to be sure) and wish you could be Jennifer grey, back to the blog read below my favourite masks and washes from Avon enjoy !
Black mineral (pore penetrating)
I only use one Avon face masks the Black mineral mask which comes in a tube rather then a packet which I like because It’s different from other face masks I use , the Avon face mask was the first face mask I used and has fuelled my face mask obsession .
I find this mask really easy to use even a monkey could use it , You simply put a thin layer on your face and I definitely think a thin layer is best because 1. It’s quite thick 2.it doesn’t take ages to dry unless you put bits thicker , leave the mask to go grey and then it’s time to wash the mask off your face I’m not gonna lie the warmer water the better as it dries quite hard but the finished result is so worth it , on the back of the tube it says 10-15 to dry but when it’s grey I wash it instead of going by the time on the tube but again that’s up to you .
Avon care 3 in 1
I honestly love this face wash so much , I love how the aloe Vera and ginger work together and leave my skin feeling newer than ever . It’s a great cleanser toner & moisturiser to give your skin a quick pick me up when like me sometimes your either too busy to do a facemask then this is the one for and I’m not gonna lie even thought it’s not an expensive face wash it does work.
I love using the 3 in 1 and my exfoliating brush (Primark) because it cleanses and cleans my pores at the same time which is a win win In my book and it’s perfect to clean your skin after wearing foundation so i recommend this to frequent make up wearers.
I hope you guys have enjoyed this beauty post, I’d love to know any of your Avon favourites so I could try them?
Until next time happy reading
Hi guys kloe here ...
I wasn’t sure what I was going to write in this week’s post as I kind of had writer’s block but then i thought I’d tell you lovely lot about my first blog submission .✋
I was so shocked to hear from Jennifer from Young and twenty but also I kind of felt deep down ready for my blog to take this next step, prior to Jennifer contacting me I was thinking I'd love to do a blog submission/Collaboration so when I heard from Young and twenty I was kinda surprised but so excited too.
Let’s just say it took me a fair while to think of what topic I wanted to write for my submission and I was kind of putting a lot of pressure on myself for it to be perfect so I kind of had to give myself a little pep talk( it went something like this you can do this kloe)
Jennifer was really nice and gave me as much time as I needed to write my submission and answered a lot of questions that I had emailed to her. I would definitely advise that if you were thinking of doing your first blog submission to look no further than Young and twenty i couldn’t think of a better blog to write my first submission .
My submission reminded me of my most happiest childhood memories and I feel like I connected with it emotionally even though I feel it’s not my best blog but that’s my over analysing opinion I did find it hard as I said somewhere above to think of a topic for my submission as I don’t blog necessarily about a certain thing but I definitely feel that you have to believe in what your writing and love it too it makes it a whole lot more personal.
Please go and check out young and twenty here , look out for my blog submission .
Until next time Happy reading
Hello you lovely bunch it’s kloe here....
It’s that time again and I thought I’d tell you about my lovely visits to RHS Wisley last sunday with a few pictures too.
I always love going to Wisley and seeing the butterflies in the glass house is no exception , it was lovely to show my sister’s boyfriend Mark and his son Caleb the butterflies for the first time I kind of felt a tour guide too which was fun.
Even though it rained I managed to get some really lovely pictures of the flowers etc picking up the camera after so long felt amazing i snapped back into photographer mode (see what did there ) it’s as if I’d never put the camera down at all .
It has reminded me lot of my grandad Alan who loved Wisley and who taught me lot about flowers too i wish he could of been there I know he would have said something really witty , i miss him a lot .
Here’s some pictures from Wisley that I took on Sunday ...
I hope you guys have enjoyed this blog , I'm so happy to share with you my photography , I hope you like the pictures I've taken .
have you been walking or visited any gardens recently if so I'd love to check them out .
until next time happy reading
Hi guys kloe here....
I’ve been wanting to start this monthly blog for a while now, I was going to post it months ago but I had a little break out and even though foundation covers it I didn’t feel great about myself. When I first thought back in January ( I just looked to be sure ) that a lot of girls like myself hate paying extortionate prices for a look that is cheap if you know where to look *winks* .
My twin sister Mariah bought me a book for Christmas on makeup looks from natural to catwalk so most looks will be from the book 10 minute make up looks by Boris entrup ( link available at the bottom ) .
For photography purposes my twin sister Mariah has offered to be my model I’ll leave a link to her blog at the bottom of this post.
Style: sweet grey
Look number : 11
1.Revolution redemption palette hot smoked £4 from superdrug
2.Foundation £3 from Primark
3.Mascara £1 from Primark
4.Lipstick ( desert sand ) 90p from Primark
Overall cost *Drum roll * £ 8.90
Brushes you’ll need
X 1 foundation brush
X1 eyeshadow brush
X 3 cotton buds
Before we get into the look i just wanted to say that the foundation I’m using isn’t my usual one the reason I’m using this foundation is because I need use it up as it’s not the perfect colour for me that’s the only thing about Primark foundation as it’s colours are very limited.
I like to apply a cream to my face as it makes the foundation apply and look smoother this isn’t in the book but It’s something that’s low costings and good for the skin too win win .
I start applying my foundation to my face starting from my chin to my forehead I find its easier in places to use my fingers as I’m not going to lie i rarely use a brush to apply my foundation but I’m trying to use brushes, I also apply a little bit of foundation to my eye lids as it acts as a primer .
I start to apply the grey eyeshadow from my redemption palette starting from the inner to the outer corner as it tells you to do in the book then apply some to the upper lid and the lash line , I like to start light with the eyeshadow as I like to apply more in moderation but it depends on how you like to wear your eyeshadow.
This mascara applies really well once it’s applied it kind of looks like fake lashes sometimes and it’s definitely worth the price and like the waterproof mascara too , I start with the top lashes then I move onto my bottom lashes applying a little at a time and as I said on step three apply how much you like I like a little bit but not a lot on my bottom lashes .
In the book it says you can apply blusher now I’m not going to as one I don’t have one and I don’t wear it at the moment but if you would like to wear blusher then apply to your cheek bones for a natural and radiant look .
I love this shade , desert sand is a kind of discrete colour but you can tell that your wearing it , I start at my cupid bow when applying this lipstick and work my way to the corners to my lips, A tip from the book is that if you blot with a tissue then reapply the lipstick will last longer.
Turn the look into night
If you like this look and would like to turn it into a night look then apply some glitter eyeliner which you can pick up from poundland for an obvious pound (for anyone wondering) it applies really well and lasts a long time for a pound.
